The Transmita was Oono's first product to target the Wireless Audio System market. It crept into the market in 2006 without much fan-fare, but with some rave reviews it soon built up significant sales and a loyal following. Given its success Oono decided to try and squeeze a little more functionality out of it. The result was the Transmita Vii.
SMALLER, LIGHTER, BETTER LOOKING
The Transmita Vii is first and foremost a Wireless Audio System - removing the need for messy cables when trying to move music from one device to another. This is what the original Transmita did very simply and very well. The Transmita Vii builds upon this and brings with it a smaller size, less bulk, and significantly better looks.
The Transmita Vii is only 19mm thick and 71mm long - making it the smallest Wireless Audio System around. Add to this the fact that it weighs only 40g and you have a very portable system that you take anywhere with you. Of course you may not want to take it anywhere - in which case we have included all the cabling you will need to power your Transmita Vii if you never plan to move it.

FULL OF ENERGY
One of the major features of the Transmita Vii is the built-in rechargeable battery. The ability to hold its own charge really means that you can take the Transmita Vii anywhere and get the most out of it.
From a full charge the transmitter will give you 6 hours of constant use and the receiver will give you 8 hours. Perfect for any presentations you may need to do. Of course you don't have to use the battery feature. If you would rather leave the units in-situ all the time then the transmitter can take its power from your PC or Mac whilst the receiver draws its juice via the mains adaptor. All the time either power method will make sure the internal battery is always kept full.
QUALITY WIRELESS TRANSMISSION
Like the original Transmita, the Transmita Vii can be used to stream any audio format to pretty much any device. As long as the music source has a headphone socket or a USB connection (PC/Mac) then you can use the Transmita Vii to transmit. As long as the receiving device has a auxilary input then the Transmita Vii receiver will be able to provide the audio through the device.
As well as being able to connect pretty much anything to pretty much anything (and over a considerable range) the Transmita Vii will do it with great audio quality. With a sampling rate of 44.1kHz you get CD quality audio.
SENSIBLE PRICING
Launched in June 2007, the Transmita Vii has an RRP in the UK of £49.99 (US$100, €75). This makes it considerably cheaper than other devices on the market. Yes, they may offer fancy interfaces and WiFi connectivity - but when it comes to streaming high quality audio simply the Transmita Vii is the best option around.
