FIRMWARE UPGRADES
Firmware upgrades are designed to provide updates to the software that powers your MINIDAB. They allow improvements to be applied even after you have purchased the MINIDAB. Normally firmware upgrades will address issues raised by customers and occasionally they will provide brand new functionality.
Firmware upgrades are really easy to install. Simply select the upgrade you require from the list below and
follow the associated instructions that also can be downloaded.
PLEASE NOTE that some firmware upgrades require
different instructions. If you have any problems

FIRMWARE UPGRADE 1.054

This is a major release that contains a number of important changes that have been requested by customers.
The first change enables the MINIDAB to store the position of music
playback when either the mode is changed or the unit is switched off. The track and position within the
track are stored. So if a user was to leave a 30 minute podcast half way through they can return to it in
the correct place.
The second change is to enable the MINIDAB to allow users to select the
method of navigation they would like when choosing DAB radios stations. The MINIDAB
was launched supporting navigation by multiplex/ensemble and firmware upgrade 1.049 introduced alphanumerical listings.
Both are now available and easy to switch between.
Finally, changes have been made to tweak the way the MINIDAB handles file transfers with
Windows. The changes will make the transfer of large numbers of files work much more efficiently.

FIRMWARE UPGRADE 1.049

This firmware upgrade will alter the software to allow the navigation of available DAB radio stations in alpha-numeric order.
All other features are the same as the launch firmware (1.048), which offered navigation of stations by multiplex.
The updated software does not offer the option to choose which method of navigation a user requires. Therefore to revert to multiplex navigation please install 1.048.

This is the software that the Oono MINIDAB was launched with. Installing this
firmware upgrade will therefore revert the software back to it's original version.
